There are reports on a new supernova in the bar-ring galaxy M95. It is easily located high in the southern horizon only a few degrees SE of the brigth planet Mars. M95 is magnitude 11,4, and the Supernova is magnitue 12,5, so it is easily seen and medium-sized amateur telescope (>114mm OD)

Comet 2010X1 Elelin which was discovered last year is now well situated to observe and easy to find, right between "the Twins", high in the South-Eastern sky, late in the evening.
Saturday evening from 20-22 UT (summertime), we have the anual Draconid meteorshower, They are remninats og the Giacobini-Zinner comet, and is a short itense shower, with op to 1000 meteors/hour. But they are generally not so bright and disturbed by a 3/4 moon. But if you plan to try to see them, you should look to the NW
