China has declared, that they will have their own manned spacestation ready by the year 2020.

According to official sources, China plans their own manned spacestation and expects to have it ready i 2020.

In 2003 China became only the third single country in the world to put a man in space, after the United States and Russia, when Yang Liwei was launched on the one-man Shenzhou-5 mission. In September 2008, the Shenzhou-7, piloted by 3 astronauts, carried out China's first space walk. 

In 2011 they will launch two unmanned missions. One of these will dock another spacecraft, which is an important step towards a spacestation, that requires more than a single launch

China has also declared their goal to become the second country to put a man on the moon.
