Australian historic researchers have found solid evidence in aboriginal lyrics that they were aware of celestial events 20-30.000years ago, making them the first astronomers Professor Ray Norris said widespread and detailed knowledge of the stars had been passed down through the generations by Australian natives (called Aboriginals), whose history dates back 20-30.000 years, in traditional songs and stories.
