Participants of the "Galaxy Zoo" project discovered a number of peculiar small green galaxies. They have been dubbed "Green Pea" galaxies, and siincec astronomers became aware of them, they have discovered an increasing number. New analysis show that they resemble Lyman-galaxies, reside in empty areas and have an unusual high star birth-rate Further reading: arXiv |
